New twist in Ram Charan’s ‘Zanjeer’ movie
Mega Power star Ram Charan Tej’s debut Hindi film ‘Zanjeer’ produced by Amit Mehra had a new twist just before its release. Actually, this is the remake of film ‘Zanjeer’ produced by Prakash Mehra in ‘70s with Amitabh Bachchan. Hence, late Prakash Mehra’s two sons Punit Mehra and Sumit Mehra have claimed their due share on the remake rights of this movie. But, when their elder brother Amit Mehra refused to give them any share in the film, they have dragged him to court and halted the film promotion, audio release functions and film release.
Finally, the two young Mehras have won the legal fight against their elder brother Amit Mehra and they completely eliminated him from the film. The two brothers, who until have created obstacles for the movie release are now gearing-up for the film promotion of the movie under their Prakash Mehra Productions banner. They are planning to release the film in September 1st week. The Telugu version of this movie ‘Thoofan’ will also release on the same day. Audio release function of the Telugu version may be held in the next month at Hyderabad.
Bollywood hot beauty Priyanka Chopra has paired with Ram Charan in this movie. Sanjay Dutt, who recently surrendered to TADA court to face the 3.5 years jail term, has enacted the ‘Share Khan’ role in this movie. (Earlier, this film was remade in Telugu by late NTR as ‘Nippulanti Manishi’ in ‘70s. Satyanarayana has enacted Share Khan role in that film.) Prakash Raj and Sri hari have played key roles in this movie. Hence, this will be debut Hindi movie for Sri Hari too.
