Malini 22 to release on Dec 27?

 

Nithya Menen’s upcoming film Malini 22 is likely to hit the screens on December 27, as per the latest buzz in the industry. Directed by Sripriya, the film also stars Krish Sathar, Naresh, Kovai Sarala and Vidyullekha Raman. The film’s audio was launched last month and the trailer has received a good response.

Malini 22 is the remake of a critically acclaimed Malayalam film titled 22 Female Kottayam and Nithya Menen will be reprising Rima Kallingal’s role. The bilingual film was wrapped up in less than 40 days and the entire unit praised Sripriya’s dedication while shooting the film. “Malini 22 has a strong message, but it’s also entertaining. I hope the film will inspire everyone to take a firm stand against the atrocities on women in the society,” Sripriya said.

The film’s post production is in the last stage. Rajkumar Sethupathy has produced the film. Arvind-Shankar duo has scored the music and Manoj Pillai is the cinematographer.
